The IAS appeals system sucks and is as bent as can be but sadly there is no regulation so nothing can really be done about it.

    Hi M1

I have a similar issue to this, but with a few differences which I was wondering if you might be able to help we with?

I have being issued a CCJ by Excel but have only found out about this when checking my credit report. I looked into and the CCJ and it is for 256GBP.
I havent lived at the address it was issued to for over a year. My mistake been that I had not changed the address on the vehicle with the DVLA so am only finding out now.
Where do I stand with this as it has been taken further? The money is not so much the issue, it is that it will be on my credit report for 6 years unless I can get it 'set aside' Annoyingly, to apply to have the judgement set aside costs 255GBP!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you

    Matt

Indeed it's a bugger when that happens. Seems daft, but there you go. If you need to do it ....
