      Re: Credit Unions................

I'd suggest that we should form a country wide list of credit unions, perhaps so that people can scroll down, see where their nearest CU is located and promote the concept of using their services over banks.

If each CU could have a link, it would make their services much more accessable to our members.

Pop it all in a prominent forum location and it could be a really popular feature.
"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

            Re: Credit Unions................

Yes there is a thread for CU but would it not be a good idea to promote the thread in the header with the added encouragement that members join their local branch

              Re: Credit Unions................

Yes good idea. To do that we need a more step by step informative thread on the benefits and link to locations of credit unions to show they are accessible.

If no one fancies doing it will sort one out later and promote it.

lets take as much business away from the banks.

Also on another more pragmatic note they are good source for small loans when the member is cash strapped & needs a little help for a few weeks or months without turning to the sharks
