Got a £100 parking ticket on Sunday while on St Annes pier, so did at the very least the car next to us, not a bad little earner me thinks.
I took a picture of the notice from the passenger side after the event and had not seen it on the way in. Also did google earth thing and as you will see the signs are not very obvious that there was a parking charge. I would have said may be it was just us being gormless but not the case they have caught many out as I have found when googling.

I have had a little chat with M1 and will follow instructions as given. The way in as you can see on the google earth was only narrow and on a junction also only a few yard from a zebra crossing, you would have had to have had 10 sets of eyes to keep safe and read the bloody notice. Also nowhere can you see a sign leading to the pay point which is tucked neatly under the canopy near the pier entrance and not near the cafe where we went. So going to try fight this with a bit of help from M1

      BPA CODE OF PRACTICE.
18.1 A driver who uses your private car park with your
permission does so under a licence or contract with you.

If they park without your permission this will usually be an
act of trespass. In all cases, the driver’s use of your land
will be governed by your terms and conditions, which the
driver should be made aware of from the start. You must
use signs to make it easy for them to find out what your
      terms and conditions are.

disabled motorists SECTION 18.10 OF THE BPA CODE OF PRACTICE. So that disabled motorists can decide whether they want to use the site, there should be at least one sign containing the
terms and conditions for parking that can be viewed without
needing to leave the vehicle. Ideally this sign should be close

to any parking bays set aside for disabled motorists.

Had nothing on this as yet and if I have got me sums right 56 days is the 16th October.
Is it still correct if you don't hear before 56 days then they can only go after the driver not the keeper, if you cant or wont name the driver there is nothing they can do?
          Just checking thanks x

Here's hoping no news is good news on this little episode. What happens now then please, as the 56 days is up?

Nothing unless they send some begging letters then you appeal - lose then go to the 2nd stage appeal (popla i think yours is if i recall correctly) and win.
