  • Judgement made against me

So,got a judgement was made against me for an overdraft,I messed up defending it.

if I pay in full ccj, will be cancelled.

But what I need to know is if I pay it,which I must. Will they associate this with my other debts, acknowledge it as contact?

If you pay within 30 days of the judgment then you will not get a CCJ on your credit report, after that it stays there for 6 years, although you can have it marked as satisfisfied.

A CCJ on one debt will not acknowledge any other debts if they are all separate contracts, they will have to go to court and through the same process.

I don't know if they will but it will be unlawful, if the contracts and agreements are independent of each other then for it to be recognised must go through the courts to obtain judgment in their favour - You can't combine them all.

You need to pay the claimant, and nobody else because that is the judgment is awarded in favour of. If that's Robinson way then you pay them - perhaps it might be best to ask for their bank details to transfer the sums and the reference on your transfer might wish to include their reference, or court reference.

Email/write to them and confirm they are in receipt then contact the court and provide them with the acknowledgement it has been paid.
