    For this thread the pertinent section is perhaps in the next paragraph:
    "The effect of our decision was to reverse the Court of Appeal and to restorethe trial judge’s order of 4 March 2011, which was based on his finding that therespondents were liable in nuisance but the Landlords were not so liable".

        It's not all doom and gloom....

        Read the interesting case of Cocking v Waring [2016] EWCA. That case too was about a dog that would not stop barking.

        Distinguishable only by the fact of being a licensor rather than a tenant.

          But a Licensor is in complete control of the property , whereas a landlord is not. Therein lies the important difference.
