      Hello Linda,

      It looks like that you and I have been to see the same people at the same place in Adeje. The only difference is that I have allow them to withdraw £500. It is a lot less. After I have returned home more than one Debbie never stopped calling me to proceed with the rest/outstanding money. I have been asking so many questions that I think they had difficulty to reply. I think she stopped calling now, but I do not answer any calls with withheld tel number any more. I will not pay cash or take loan to any more time share scheme.
      My advise is to try to make a claim to your credit card that Luxury Leisure Group has misrepresented you, explain just like you did here on the web and more and try forget the rest. I have and I am on the winning path. The law says that you can not claim any money back after 6 years of purchase, which non of us new about it at the time. They are tying their luck. I hope they will not succeed. I have not idea how they have survived for such a long time.
      I don't know if you took any pictures or have noticed that any of their shops had no telephone number and no website address, what was very odd for a world travel agent who claimed have the best deals in town. Good luck Linda and let us know how you get on.

        We were initially contacted by Orange Sun Travel who stated that as we had been a customer of Club Class Holidays they could recover the money we lost with them. They would provide a weeks accommodation for free in Tenerife where we would meet with a lawyer who would recover the lost money.

        During this meeting we were talked into subscribing to the companies mentioned earlier. All that was on offer seemed to be worthwhile, but, we mis-understood what the subscription fee was for and signed up not realising the full consequences of our actions.

        They say that as the contract is automatically renewed (free of charge) every 364 days it is not covered by the 2011 EU Timeshare Directive and as such does not have a 14 day cooling-off period and we would lose all the money we paid on the day if we cancelled.

        Any help or guidance would be much appreciated
        The same happened to us in January but the companies involved were T. APOGEE and Alternative Travel.
