    Hello, Johnny

Were the police called and were you charged with theft? Explain how it was an accident, if it were a genuine accident ie no particular intended theft, you may have grounds for a claim against the company for victimisation under the Equality Act 2010 or for defamation of character. It is disproportionate for a company as large as Boots with its many branches to ban you just because one of its paid staff on its books, a security guard thinks he has the power to do that. In addition, it seems unlikely that RLP will issue a claim for losses as there are none as the product was not lost, ie not stolen and the security said it was the end of the matter.
