  • The Alternative Dispute Resolution for Consumer Disputes Regulations 2015

A pdf copy of these Regulations and be found here
    ADR Regulations 2015

This Statutory Instrument is headed CONSUMER PROTECTION and lists the Competent Authorities responsible each ADR scheme (e.g. Ombudman's ) that are in existance.

If you have a complaint about the way your case was dealt with (not the outcome) or any of the Terms of Reference or Guidelines that are published by the ADR scheme you are forced to use, then the Competent Authority for that scheme is the body you need to complin to.

I think if Site Admin could make this a sticky it would be helpful

I am in total agreement with this 'post', for too long administrators of ADR schemes believe they are 'untouchable' when they really are not.

Making this a sticky would help complainants to complain in the knowledge that 'rules' apply and must be followed, all we need now is the regulator to actually REGULATE!.
