    Hi

    Please can anyone advise....

I applied for a mortgage with falsified wage slips /p60...(please do not do this!!!). The application was approved and i received the mortgage.

I then need to borrow more and applied for extra borrowing using the same wage slips/ p60... but with a different borrower.

Before the application went for approval, I told my husband (We where living apart at the time of the first application) , he advised against doing this for the obvious reasons of breaking the law and the implications.

I then contacted the broker (by email) and advised that i wish to withdraw the application and he withdraw the application for the extra borrowing.

But ....the potential lender investigated the second application and found that the payslips/p60... where falsified and put a 6 year cifas maker against my name and my husbands.

Q1 : I know i my actions where wrong. But can they put a cifas maker against both our names even tho i withdrawed the application before it went for approval ?

Q2: If they can, Can my husband appeal the cifas maker against his name?

Q3: Do i come clean with my existing borrower (1st application) and admit to my wrong doing ? What are the implications which this may bring?

Would be most grateful for any guidance.

    Thanks
