  • Unreasonable family

My father died last year and left a will giving his 4 children equal shares in his house. He said my 2 brothers can remain in house for UP TO 20 years. Rent free. What does up to 20 years mean?
Could we force sale of the house
sell our 50% of the house (if we could to whom)
his will states that my brothers and there spouses can live in the house, but nothing about thier children can we charge them rent.

i now I sound bitter but they had agreed to buy our share of the property.
    Any help would be appreciated

I think you'll need to post the exact wording of the will with regards the property to get some help with this.

My trustees shall permit (names) together with there spouses provided they were married at time of my death(the occupants)) to live in the house free of charge for a period of UP TO 20 years after my death.
