  • Court Claim CO-OP Energy

    CO-OP ENERGY

    Issue date 20/01/2016

The Claim is for cost of gas and/or electricity supplied to the Defendant
and the claimant claims 206.11 Account number ******.
The claimant claims interest under section 69 of the County Court Act
1984 at the rate of 8% per year from 02/07/13 to 15/01/2016
on £8 and also interest at the same rate upto the date of judgement or earlier payment date at a daily rate of £0.05

I changed my gas/electricity supply in 2013 and had prepayment meters already installed. The meters never got removed. I still carried on paying for my gas using my previous energy suppliers card/key and never received any payment cards/key off CO-OP. After a month or so i changed from COOP to a new supplier. So i never actually had any gas/electricity of them as i was paying for it via card and key. I have acknowledged the claim via money claim.

Have you received any letters asking you to regularise the account prior to the court claim?
