  • Problems with search function

Is there any problems with the search function by any chance? Whenever I try to search posts that I've posted on it's telling me there are no posts. For example, I know Sparkie made a thread about ICO/Blackhorse however when I input ICO in the search box, it says there are no posts relating to that keyword. Tried a few other threads I know I've posted on but still telling my there isn't any related to that keyword.

Ya Sparkies thread isn't an issue but I'm talking about ones where I have not been on in a couple days and i've lost track of threads i've posted on especially where I cant remember the name of the person but possible what the name of the thread is. Just a bit time consuming to trawl through my subscriptions to work out what I'm looking for because the search doesn't seem to work properly.

It's just more of an inconvenience for me that's all and don't want to miss out on threads i've not replied to

Not sure if you're aware of it but if not use the 'subscribed threads' function that will list the threads you've posted on in the order of the most recent post made on them by anyone.

Thanks EXC, that makes it easier to see where I've posted, I was looking through the subscriptions through my own profile on my activity which was a bit of a nightmare to read. Anyway, not to worry just thought i'd raise it because it only seemed to be picking up certain words when I searched but not others.

                Re: Problems with search function

The search needs 4 or more characters so ICO won't work - neither will very common words ( like because ) - I'll add a note to the 'no results' pop up to say that might be why - Blackhorse does work though ?

( some bring up ''The following words are either very common, too long, or too short and were not included in your search: '' not sure why ICO doesn't)
