  • Help universal credit payment dates?

I will shortly receive my first uc payment. Today I got a letter telling me my payment will go through on the 27th, what is strange to me is that's a Sunday. I would of assumed okay I'll get it on the Friday before but that is Xmas day! Okay maybe the Thursday and nope I've checked and no payment. ???? Anyone else in my situation know when it will go in?

It should have gone in on the 23rd - https://www.gov.uk/how-to-have-your-benefits-paid
    Christmas and New Year payments

Your usual payment date may change if you receive any benefit, apart from Child Benefit or tax credits.

    Benefit payments due:
between 23 and 28 December will be paid on 23 December 2015
on 31 December 2015 or 1 January 2016 will be paid on 31 December 2015
on 4 January 2016 in Scotland will be paid on 31 December 2015

If you’ve not received your payment, contact the office that pays your benefit on the day it was due.
have you tried phoning the benefit office??
