  • Just found out had ppi cc with yorkshire bank, ccj, charge on house interest added

    Hi Beagles!
My husband has just found out he had PPI on his Credit Card! He found out When making a claim on ppi
The same credit card he received a Ccj in May which we felt was fair enough at the time as he stopped making payments as I have said before in other posts. 'things took a turn for the worse'
when £4000 worth of insulation was stolen and we have suffered other ongoing financial issues and have been in severe financial hardship since.

The bank are saying he tried to claim for misold ppi in 2010 (when he tried to claim his late payment interest charges) with a claims management company. Which they refused and offered £144 as a gesture of good will. he didn't accept nor bother going to Fos. So cannot be sure but I have the letter and it says nothing about ppi as he didn't know he had it, had he known he would have made a claim in 2001 and 2003 the bank say it was under a reference number and in due course they will be looking into the complaints procedure and may open his case up. he dosnt need to get in touch. Please help how do I go about opening the case quickly the cmc has now closed so can't be sure they didn't try to claim ppi.

The thing is the Ccj issued in May, yesterday he received another CCJ or a final charge on the house.

The court are saying they have added interest since May (Weightmans for Cabot) are saying they will send the sheriffs round if he dosnt pay up. its like last Christmas all over again) any legal advice with regards to the ppi and the banks we have a suspended repossession order looming after Christmas and don't need the added stress is there any way I can get to the bottom of the ppi and maybe the late payment fees.
    Thank you!
    Thank You
