You did mention that this was a packaged account if so contact the FOS Financial Ombudsman Service and explain this then make a complaint against Halifax. Dont make a Small Claims Court Order only as a last resort. When was the account closed.

              Dear sloane82
Might I ask what mistake you made with your particulars of claim before I complete mine which is due to be submitted tomorrow, please

You have been very helpful and it is very much appreciated!

              - - - Updated - - -

its from 2009 to 2011 and from 2010 to date and its over $1,000 before interest
              thank you

              - - - Updated - - -

account has not been closed despite my request to do so to Halifax and worse still they have not responded to my letters which I know they have received as I did send via recorded delivery and have the receipt and who signed for it and date they signed for it, etc which I will add to my particulars of claim

                  Re: Winkle4cee Halifax

Ok first of all do not put in your particulars of order without any guidance from a solicitor or someone who has legal representation. Secondly write another letter to Halifax Bank. They will reply. Contact the FOS Financial Ombudsman Service. Have a chat with Paul Tilley from Howlett Clarke. Google their number. As it is costly. £115 for the particulars order then court costs etc. You need to get your particulars in order. You may not need to go the small claims courts route. Try and settle this with the bank and phone up the FOS. Halifax will mention that the charges from 2009 are now statute barred. You have charges onwards brilliant. Try and claim back all charges packaged account charges PPI Etc go to the FOS Financial Ombudsman Service and mention about this and every charge that you can possibly claim back.

                      Dear Nem

Indeed I gather that you are all very busy
Bank charges are from No 2009 to 2011
Packages account fees are from 2010 to date
I rote to Halifax 2ce and no response I know they have received by letters as I have copie of the signed receipt
Particulars of claim need to be sorted before claim becme statue barred
Need help with Particulars of claim as I will be claiming for both
                      Kindest regards

                      - - - Updated - - -

                      You are quite brilliant
2009 would be statue barred from next week tht said I did ask for the refund months ago so that as long as I have written to them the courts would accommodate that the charges from 2009 will stay.
many thanks indeed for your generosity with your tiem
