File it. If you get a letter before action or court papers return for advice.

It's fine. File it like the rest.

                some txt from the letter

"You now need to pay the amount due (see overleaf for more information regarding liability for this charge"

                Liability for this charge.
"The driver of the vehicle at the time this charge was issued is responsible for payment. However in circumstances set out in the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012, liability may be transferred to the keeper of the vehicle. This applies to tickets issued in England and Wales and only if certain conditions are met"

Letter filed along with the others :tinysmile_grin_t:

Notice of intended court action has just arrived.

Pay full amount of £130 by 11/11/2015 to prevent the case being recommended to the creditor to commence court proceedings.

Please note that if the case goes to court and you are ordered to pay the parking charge, the creditor may seek to recover additional amounts from you, and these may incluse court fees and solicor's costs.

So some BS debtcollecter and not the creditor. More bogroll for the drawer.

Another letter today from the Debt Recovery Plus Ltd, advising that they have been instructed by ParkingEye Ltd to obtain immediate settlement.

Unless full payment is received in the next 14 days, they are instructed to report back to ParkingEye with a recommendation to refer my case to the clients solicitor, to consider cour proceedings against me.

If you here from Parking Eye it's an issue. DRP is just garbage for filing.

Re: Final Notice from Parking Eye

                            Hi There.
I came across this thread and am in pretty much in the same position as Chalkyman. Except my partner is receiving the letters and I was the driver.
Same car park and various Parking Eye and DR+ letters (although we didn't file the Parking Eye ones) now at the pay us £130 immediately letter before referral for legal action stage.

This is the second time I have had a run in with these people and the problem went away on it's own last time with plenty of ignoring, however it didn't get to this stage before.

I have read a few things about this Beavis case and accept they are stepping up their campaign in the light of that.

Would just like to know if in the light of this new ruling your advice from the 17th November still stands? Do we keep sitting on this or should we take steps? Partner is worried about credit rating etc..

                            Many Thanks for your help

Same advice: file the letters and don't respond, unless you get a letter before claim from Parking Eye. No keeper liability in Scotland.
