  • ITN Documentary about compulsive shoplifting

ITN Productions is currently developing a programme for a British terrestrial broadcaster, exploring the issues surrounding compulsive shoplifting and its treatment. We are looking for people who might like to share their story with us, and possibly take part in some filming for a short non-broadcast ‘taster’ tape.

Through our research we have found that there aren’t many support or treatment options available to individuals living with this kind of challenging condition in the UK. We would love to speak to people about their own experiences.

How is your life affected by compulsive shoplifting?
    Have you been through treatment?
Are you currently receiving treatment, or are you considering it in the future?

If you or somebody you know would like to hear more about our documentary, please get in touch – shopping@itn.co.uk
"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )
