  • Mobile Phone Fraud

In the last month my mother has had bills from two mobile phone companies in two different but similar names sent to her house . No one other than her and my father have ever lived in the house (they were the first owners). She has phoned them both up and been assured it will be passed to the fraud department and investigated blah blah but again today she received two letters which she has returned unopened. She is on one hand worried about her credit rating but on the other hand won't make a fuss -lets just say she is nearer 80 than 70.
I don't want to worry her unnecessarily so do we just wait and see what happens or be proactive , send complaints into EE and 3 as well as check her credit file?

    Any thoughts please?

    Re: Mobile Phone Fraud

I would let this rest. These things have a habit of mushrooming into something nasty, something that neither you nor your mother should have to deal with. I doubt anything adverse will be on her CF at this stage with regard to these accounts.

Sorry, don't know the 3 complaints address. Yet!
