I have a bit of a dilemma with Argos. Basically we ordered some nursery furniture which was on sale and had an approx. 6-8 week lead-time. The full set was £400 and we have already paid half of that. The furniture was supposed to be delivered on the 01/08/15.
Argos have contacted me today to say that the item is out of stock and they do not know when the next lot will be in stock. I have a baby due in around 4 weeks, hence we ordered the furniture about 4-5 weeks ago. Obviously this has put us in a bit of a jam!
Argos have offered us an alternative but my wife hates it. Do I have any comeback with Argos to deliver the items we agreed as we have already paid some of the monies, therefore we have some kind of contract?
