  • Client Enforcement Ltd

    Good Morning,

This is the first time I've posted on here and although I've had a look around the forum if i'm doing/saying anything 'wrong' then my apologies, please point me in the right direction and i will endeavor to sort it out.

I have recently received a Parking Charge Notice for £60 from Civil Enforcement Ltd for parking at a Tesco's car park for approximately 9hrs, the reason for this is i dropped my car off at a valet business that operates there for a major valet on my car, the chap i spoke to ask if i could leave for as long as possible to which i replied 'well i can leave it all day, as i'm off to work' he was very pleased with my response and so off to work i went. On my return I paid for my valet and left.

A few years ago i received something very similar from a different company and after some research online i took the advice printed and just ignored it and sure enough nothing happened, now i understand that the rules have changed with regards to these companies but I've no idea what they are, hence why i'm here?

So i would be most grateful for some advice on my next course of action.

Thank you so much in advance for your help.:tinysmile_grin_t:

Speak to the valet company and perhaps even Tesco. Once you gather your thoughts from that you can appeal if needed.

Do not let the time for appealing expire even if you are awaiting a reply from someone.

    Dear Sirs,

I, as registered keeper, wish to invoke your appeals process. The vehicle was in the care of a car valeting company xxxxx. I am not liable for this charge.

    Yours etc

    M1
