I am in a strange situation.
My firm had to restructure due to contractual changes within the workplace with the supplier. At the time i was a manager and felt the need to escape the incessant bullying and beliting from upper management, so i accepted an alternative. Role with the same money and perks, only to be restructured into a engineering role with the proposal of keeping our salaries within a certain workload completion.

Now the issue i have is as off today we were all on a confrence call to be informed that this role is being made redundant and we are now in the intial stages of consultancy ref this.

As the work team is under 30 what is the consultancy. Period and is there anything i can take to the table refrence the whole debarkle.

    Thanks

When you say under 30, do you mean more than 20?

Is everyone in the work team facing redundancy also? If so then if an employer is making 20 or more roles redundant they must give a 90 day consultancy period, but they must also inform you offer alternative roles (Similar to your current role) where possible (i.e. if there is any similar alternative roles) or inform you of other vacant vacancies elsewhere within the company and invite you to apply for them if you wish too.

No there is only ten in the current positions. Half of us have already been redeployed and our roles changed on the internal databases. But kept the salary as we were quoted by our head of ops. I had also received a call about a month ago stating i was transferred from on project to another which had caused issues with my salary not being paid correctly. Now all these little incidents lead me to believe that i am not in the previous role on the books already and as such i probably will stand corrected but what are they playing at....
