    notice the risk weighted assets have decreased .............but the costs of the loans are the same or more in a lot of consumer cases.

    Second charge lending guidance states that rates " should only be increased on a loan to recover genuine increases in costs which have an effect on the loan"

      When I took out my loan, the website stated " from time to time your monthly payments may go up or down in accordance with the Bank of Egland base rates" Clearly this has not been the case!

        The Key Word is May!! there is no mention of will " go up or down".

          Clearly then this is a) not explained clearly to the user thus representing mis selling but b) they have told me they do not use the Boe rate at all!
