  • Gemini Parking - PCN at Chase Farm Hospital

    Hi everyone (especially M1)

Just been issued with a PCN (issue date 24th March) for £60 for 'Failure to Pay for the Duration of Stay' from Gemini Parking Solutions whilst parking at Chase Farm Hospital, Enfield on 10th March 2015.

I paid on exit, as stated by signage, using my debit card. Typed in reg, was charged £2 - no probs - but did think at the time, that this wasn't enough to cover the duration of 1h46 (entry time 08:46, exit time 10:32).

SInce lost tiny ticket issued as receipt, but do have confirmation on bank statement of payment.

How do I email and contest this? Is a screenshot of bank statement needed at this stage?

Thanks so much for any future help x

    Dear Sirs,

I, as registered keeper, wish to invoke your appeals procedure. The driver paid (see attached) In any event your charges are penal in nature and not a genuine pre estimate of loss.

I am under no statutory obligation to name the driver and will not do so.

If you reject my appeal please supply a popla code.

    Yours etc.

If they reject the appeal and give a popla code please return for a winning appeal.

          Hi Nick1001
Haven't heard a thing from Gemini! Sent off the letter and evidence of payment on bank statement, exactly as M1 had advised, on 31st March.
          Had no reply whatsoever.
Anyone (M1 in particular) know if there's an amount of time in which Gemini ought to respond to me by?
Thanks in advance to M1 x

            http://www.britishparking.co.uk/writ..._update_V5.pdf

22.8 You must acknowledge or reply to the challenge within
14 days of receiving it. If at first you only acknowledge
the challenge, or your reply does not fully resolve it,
normally we would expect you to seek the additional
information you require from the motorist and accept
or reject the challenge in writing not more than 35
days after the information required to resolve it has
been received from the motorist. It is acknowledged
that in exceptional circumstances, an investigation into
a challenge may take longer than 35 days after such
information has been received and in these instances the
motorist must be advised accordingly and given a date by
which they can expect a resolution. If this date cannot be
achieved then the motorist must be written to again and
a revised resolution date agreed. We may require you to
demonstrate that you are keeping to these times.

However the BPA will do diddly squat if you report it.

Hello there, I have posted today for the exact same hospital - Chase Farm. I think I have done it all wrong by admitting I was driving. They are hounding me now with debt collectors and what with my dad's illness and setting up carers and all sorts, its stressing the life out of me. Did you ever hear back from Gemini?
              Many thanks for your time.
