Re CPR 31.14 request

Hi I would like to clarify a small detail, have completed request letter from forum, I know I send it to the claimants solicitor but they are not named specifically, as the format is- my name address, date, claimants name and address. I am thinking should I send covering letter addressed to claimants solicitor to say please find enclosed my cpr request regarding claim no xxxxx. Or add a line saying FAO the named solicitor to my CPR request?
Do not want to get caught out on a small detail
