• Letter before County Court Claim

Hi

I would appreciate some help with the following

My wife has received a letter from Parking eye and am unsure as to how to progress- it relates to a parking charge at Sunderland hospital where we failed to pay as the pay by phone facility (which we are registered with) was unavailable

How should we proceed?

Hi clict99, welcome to LB :tinysmile_grin_t:
I have moved your post to the parking charge forum where you should get a quicker reply :tinysmile_twink_t2:

Did you appeal the parking charge and ask for a POPLA code?

Re: Letter before County Court Claim

In that case the registered keeper should send parking eye the drivers name and address as a matter of priority. This extinguishes keeper liability providing it is done prior to the lodging of a court claim.

A letter before claim is not the lodging of a claim.

The driver should then get the chance to appeal and if required go to popla.

You should get a reply. Phone them tomorrow to confirm receipt (take the name of who you speak to)
