    I paid by debit card, no I don't have payees bank details, I really feel like a fool over this conn.

        Have you tried speaking with your bank ? If you used a visa debit card you may be able to do a chargeback [link deleted - asking for money ffs Which? seriously]

          Yes I did speak to my bank but they informed the payment had gone though and they could not
          really do any thing, But I will have another Go Thanks

            I am writing to request that under your Chargeback rules you reimburse me the value of £117.60 as full payment for a renewing my passport I paid for with my debit card to UK services & support ltd via Hipay on [enter date].

            My claim is made on the grounds that I was misled into using the website www.britishpassportservices.co.uk under the belief it was the official HM Passport Office Website. Within an hour of completing their online form, which I though was to renew my passport, I realised it was a con. I rang the company who said they would cancel the application and gave me a cancellation number 63716. I can not get a refund from them, after 8 emails I am not getting my refund.

            I look forward to a full and prompt response to this letter within 14 days.

                  Looks like the staff at your bank have NOT been on the training course. Get back on to them and INSIST.

                    Hi Thanks for the template letters I will post them off to my bank and see what happens., I need to write to my MP, Advertising Standards Agency, Action Fraud and BBC Watchdog. I was at the government pass port office this morning paying for my passport I told them I have been conned by British passport services they informed me they new all about them, they told me to contact the Advertising standards authority phone no 020 7492 2222 website www.asa.org.uk.
                    They also informed me they are trying to close BPS down .

                        Phone trading standards and complain... Tell them you have a refund number and they are refusing to honour an agreed refund...

                            Did you ask them at the HMPO if they had an appointment booked in your name ? (other than the one you booked yourself that is)

                                They're talking rubbish.

                                Tell them you want to do a chargeback claim on the basis that you didn't receive the service you paid for. Read from page 5 attached.
