  • Filing a n180 form

Hi everyone, I have just found out the deadline for filing the N180 form is Monday 6 October in Northampton. I live in London and I would like to know if it's possible to file the form via fax or email as my only other options at the moment appear to be to deliver it personally by rail or road - is that acceptable? I could put it with a courier service for same day delivery but this is expensive.

I started the claim online and I am now annoyed it has become a paper based claim, especially as all the form is asking for is whether or not I agree to mediation. Please advise what is the best way of getting my form to the County Court Business Centre, Northampton by 5pm Monday.

    Many thanks.

You can fill it out on a PDF, save it or print it to PDF, and email it to the court, give the court a call Monday morning and check that is okay, it should be fine, otherwise get it in the post special delivery, and tell the court you've done it, a day or so late on the n180 should be fatal anyway xxx
