Worried sick, Hubby is in court with Welcome next month,
Got the car in 2008, after 6 months we couldnt afford the repayments, we handed the car back to them.
That was the last we heard of them till earlier this year, when they wrote demanding money blur blur. Letters saying they had called at our flat, we live in a house, asked the neighbours if they had seen us (according to Welcome they were told we had moved) etc etc.
Anyway to cut a long story short, because Im sure you have read it all before on the forum. My question is, whats Hubby's chance of winning? And as we have no money left at the end of the month paying bills etc how will Welcome get any money from us?
    Thanks

Can you provide a timeline of events that details the history of this account?

When did you receive the claim and what are the particulars of claim?

      Re: welcome car finance

Hi, Sorry for not geeting back to you.
Hubby was in court yesterday morning with lovely Welcome Finance.
They sent a un prepared young man who had no idea what the abbreviations meant on page after page of paper work. Twice sent out to make phone calls.
To cut a long story short. Hubby was found guilty of non payment to Welcome and received CCJ and ordered to pay Welcome Car Finance .......Zero, nothing, not even the court costs.
The little pip squeek looked like he was going to cry.
Anyway a bit of a result really. The CCJ will not bother us, we dont and wont need credit.
