  • SB debt and IVA not completed.

    For a Friend.

They are getting letters from Westcot for a loan that was last paid over t years ago through an IVA that was never completed.
Have checked their CRA files with Experian and nothing shows regarding this debt or the IVA and in the last 2 years they have got Credit a Barclaycard and a Loan from a high street bank so would expect that they are a good risk not someone wth a 12k plus debt unpaid?

I have said ignore it unless a LBA comes highly unlikely we have 32 letters concerning one 4k debt ourselves .
Can the send the Lender a SAR without admitting the debt in case the DCA fabricates a payment ?

A sar surely does not admit to anything . It is a request under data protection for any information the organisation may hold on you . I would use a template letter.
