Claimant: Civil Enforcement Ltd

Original Credit: civil enforcement limited
Particulars of Claim:
Wanting some advice about what to put in a letter I assume I need to send to the court.
Way back on 08/07/2011 my husband dropped my son off at his school prom, it was busy around the venue so he drove into the co-op car park in Elland, West Yorkshire, at 18:14 and reversed straight out. He did exactly the same at 23:46, and guess what he is being penalised for being there 5 hours and 32 mins. (All recorded by them). When we initially received the fine I wrote on his behalf stating exactly what had happened, then after researching the company on the internet we have ignored all further correspondence. What happened was the truth but as my husband is a delivery driver he went into the co-op and asked a member of staff for advice, she told him it happens all the time and to go back in if necessary. I have the original correspondence but not necessarily all the ones in between, the last letter I have from them is dated 14th May 2014 informing him that Civil Enforcement Ltd has assigned part of the debt to Debt Enforcement & Action Ltd (£130) whom I cannot see mentioned on the claim form. One last thing, monies or responses should be paid or sent to Salford not Northampton.
Can someone please help, I have seen companies offering to "buy the hassle" for £16 and will pay the sum if they don't 'win', but having done nothing wrong we don't see why we should pay anything.
many thanks!!
