Re: Trying to understand the amount of my CCJ. Please help.

Thanks to all who contributed to this thread.
    My final question is--
What is my chance of getting a Tomlin order now it is over a year since the CCJ? It has very adversely affected my employment opportunities as a qualified accountant

    Thanks,
    Goldie

Anything would need to be negotiated between yourself and the solicitor - I don't fancy your chances as they have already indicated they are willing to use bailiffs and bankruptcy petition to enforce the judgment.

I haven't asked, has the harassment ceased since bringing the injunction action ?

It has, but the evidence of threats and death threats (400 texts were sent in all) from last year remain on my phone / saved. So when I come back again to my local area where the defendant lives and I won't feel safe, I am going to the police with my evidence.

Did you go to the Police before you went to Court.

That is a good idea. Did you go to the police originally before the injuction proceedings?

(Sorry Wales didn't see your post - ummm same question as Wales )

                No, I didn't
Stupidly I honestly thought an injunction for life would make more sense and I would feel safer than just getting him charged by the police...
