    Hi I have noticed a default appear on my credit report to do with BT at an address I had no control over the phone line my parents took account of all those affairs can you advise where i stand?

    Was the Account in your name if it was the Default would be against you

      The account wasn't even with bt, that's the whole point I never had an account with them and the parents were with Virgin

        Some one here would advice what action to take against BT

          You should write to customer complaints at BT and tell them this is nothing to do with you. Tell them you want the default removing immediately and if they fail to do so they will leave you no option but to take legal action to force its removal.

          That will get their attention and flush them out, so see if they can provide any justification. This is a kick-ass situation.
