  • Enforment Charging Order Property- Judgement Debtor name slightly different to OC

    Folks,

I am the Judgement Creditor of a claim against an individual for £5,208.80 including costs. I have transferred to my local County Court and made an application for a Charging Order.

The District Judge is writing to me raising a concern about the difference in the name between the Judgement and the Land Registry's Office Copies Proprietor . I will refrain from posting actual names but the difference comes down to a single letter difference in the first name and a middle name that appears on the Office Copies that does not appear on the Claim or Judgement.

As the Claim was based on a breach of contract with me. I had to use the name as specified on the formal documentation with a loan company as the principle. I stood as guarantor so I got copies of all formal
    documentation.

The Registry Trust has 3 other unsatisfied MCOL judgements entered against my respondent: each with a different, but similar, name against each judgement.

How do I best address tis issue to the level that would satisfy the court?

    thank you,

    Kevin
