  • My employer hasn't paid me

So I had a small summer job last summer distributing magazines to homes. I did this for a couple of months and was paid by cheque. Everything was fine - I got my second cheque and went off to uni with it, planning to cash it in at my bank there. I forgot about it for a while then remembered so decided to take it to the bank. When I got there I was told that they couldn't cash it and to contact my employer. I sent him a quick email explaining what had happened and he told me he'd changed banks and to send him my bank details so he could send it online instead. I sent him my bank details and waited, but nothing came through. I emailed him again and he asked me for my details again. Still, nothing happened. When I carried on emailing him he started saying it was my fault for leaving it so long and asked for my details again. I was busy with uni so I forgot about it for a while and he seemed happy to have me forget about it. It's now summer so I've emailed him twice in the past few days and he's now completely ignoring me. It's really frustrating - I admit I shouldn't have left it so long before cashing in the cheque but I'm still entitled to be paid.

What can I do about this?
