that clarifies a bit more and no we never got any letter after MBNA the first one was from AK.
there was a gap of 2 years in the assignment and nothing shows on the record of who or what happened to the debt in those 2 years.
will they give us another chance of payment options before taking court action ?
also my partner is currently out of work so will that be taken into consideration ?

go to A.K. site and browse thru, you will come across payment plans i.e Purple/red/green etc etc and you can set upon there if you are not going to contest the account.

If they try a CCJ against you in the future you could always agree a Tomlin Order, but if you set up a plan with them they would not need to get a CCJ against you ? sure Ame will advise also?
