Congratulations are in order today KATE BRISCOE has informed me she has won my case against bw/lowell to set aside statutory demand with a great big wad of court costs for them.

PLEASE if ever you in the awful position of being served with a statutory demand get in touch with kate she really is the expert to have on your side .

    Thank you once again Kate

Congratulations Maur. Real pleasure to resolve this stat demand for you.

For those interested in the technicalities, in response to a s.78 CCA request, Lowell supplied a copy of an 'Card Upgrade Application Form'. They supplied no accompanying terms, nor did they supply the original card agreement. No statement of account, default notice or notice of sums in arrears either. If this is all they have to rely on, this account will not be enforceable.
"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )
