  • Welcome Finance 2002 secured loan

    Welcome agreement from 2002.




    includes charge document and terms and conditions hope I can post all the links!
    others are, a letter we received when challenged as they only sent copies of original not for alleged second loan.
    Two other agreements one allegedly for this address, which Welcome sent when challenged the other for our old address note that they change to Progressive Finance in this one was supplied by Mackenzie Hall last year no terms and conditions for this one.
    Neither of theses are signed and dated, have left as much detail as I can.

      The top agreement is typical of early Welcome agreements and is unenforeceable because the prescribed term for the total credit is misstated.

      The copy agreement at the bottom is in the newer format which was introduced in May 2005 the figures in this agreement are compliant.

      Many of the newer "key information" type agreements are compliant, however not by any means all, if in doubt the best bet is to check the APR against the total amount payable and the total credit stated, if it is incorrect then look further at where the various charges are listed.
