  • Capital One Charges

    Good Afternoon,

i would appreciate some help. I have an ongoing PPI saga with Capital One, which is now with the Ombudsman. In the midst of the correspondence they offered to look at any excess charges on my account. It has taken them 16 weeks and 3 reminders for them to come back and let me know that there were no default charges applied in the last 6 years.
The account was closed in 2009 and I thought that they would go back 6 years from that time.
Can anyone help clarify the situation for me please?
    Thank you so very much.
