  • Mens rights

When I first heard of men's rights I thought it rather funny. However, in my voluntary work giving advice to young people about half questions about gender equality come from young males (boys and men). The most common are discrimination some UK youth hostels where there are single sex dorms for females but not males and discrimination in many matters relating to work with young children and in some areas of the NHS with its feminist titled like Matron and Sister. While discrimination against girls and women is easy to deal with, discrimination against men is notoriously difficult to deal with.

All forms of discrimination are horrible to the individual who experiences it whether it is racist or homophobic or gender discrimination but whereas most will simply be dealt with if you report it, gender discrimination against males seems to be the exception. Could it be because it is all females who deal with complaints?
