  • Lloyds no help

    Hi all
Got a friend who is so squeeky clean and on top of things I was gobbed smacked when she asked me to help her sort out the following.
She got a new job last autumn her previous Employer did not send her P45 until their normal pay day this crossed with her new employers pay day being the last Friday of the month so she had to pay emergency tax on her new salary.
The next month comes around and she pays a BR tax code and her pay being the last Friday of the month drops into a 5 week month instead of 4.
She sorts out direct debits but due to the extra tax and a mix up with her bonus payments she does not have enough to pay her LLoyds Credit card the month rolls on th Xmas and a BR tax code again no bonus and another missed payment to LLoyds she writes to them having finally sorted out the Tax and Bonus all to be paid this month so she will bring her credit card back up to date by 31st January 2014 .
LLoyds write back asking for income and expenditure sheets to be filled in she is not going on a payment plan just stating when her account will be fully up to date.
I did tell her its a waste of time telling them anything they just ignore you but she said they have sent numerous letters asking for payment and telling her to get in touch
I said she should just pay the amount when her wages go in (only choice she has )
    What do you think

    Re: Lloyds no help

She should write to Lloyds again stating the above and that the credit card will be cleared in full once she has been paid. They are looking at whether she is suffering financial hardship so has any priority debts payments been missed?
