    advice on secured debt

    Hello,

    I am wondering what the situation is with regards to secured debts that have effectively been written off and sold to a debt collector and the subsequent status of the charge thereafter.
    ie Is the charge still valid when your house is sold & if so how what is the process that is normally followed.
