  • Help please

    Hi all, any help appreciated.

I recieved a pcn this was for "Parked in a restricted street during prescribe hours"

I did not see the sign when I drove in to the road, this was because it was behind another sign, speed restriction. I parked on a single yellow looked for sign but could not see one.

Any way I appealed and sent all pictures in. this was refused now have a notice to Keeper, trying to compile an appeal

Pay the parking tax - it'll be cheaper.

If you could see the sign by going and looking for it, it is unlikely that they will accept that it was obstructed just from driving.

What council is the PCN from? I worked in parking services dealing with appeals. I wont suggest you do this, but from my experience, if the PCN got returned to the office as Unknown at this address, or returned as gone away, that would put the ticket into a line waiting to be written off. As we weren't allowed to send to bailiffs or apply to the court to register it as a debt if we hadn't served a couple of legal notices, and with them returned we had no way of proving we had issued fair notice.

If you can tell me a little more about it, mainly which council I may be able to offer some more help.
