  • Employer hasn't paid for hours worked and denying that I was there!!!

Can anyone help me at all please with some advice??
My daughter is 16 yrs old and works on a zero hours contract in a small local shop.
She has been there since May 2013 and has a written contract for zero hours, including entitlement to holiday pay, pro rata.
During the August school holidays she worked 19 days and also had one day annual leave.
When she was paid in September, she was only paid for 15 days. (I.e. 4 days and 1 annual leave day short) She spoke to her Manager who said that he would sort it out and checked the CCTV. However, 2 of those days she worked he couldn't see her as she was working at the back of the shop but nonetheless said it would be sorted out. I KNOW that she was there on those days as I took her and picked her up from the shop and she is very honest, reliable and trustworthy.
However, she has just been paid again (expecting the money she was missing 4 days and 1 A/L)) and she has now been paid for the 8 days she worked in September and only 2 extra days. Therefore, she is still missing 2 days pay plus one day holiday pay. It seems that as she cannot prove that she was there for the 2 days, he is refusing to pay her. She is only 16 and even if she leaves the job in protest, I cannot see there is any way of getting her money (approx. £80) which she is not only entitled to but worked hard for. She is only on £3.68 per hour.
Is there anything that we can do or is it just a lesson in life for the future??
