Disclosing external interview details during redundancy

Hi,


Hopefully someone can advise!


I've agreed to work for my current employer for the next few weeks prior to being made redundant.


I leave the business on 16/08 and will then be paid 3 myths PILON.


I am currently looking at external opportunities and have today been asked by my current employer to disclose details of external interviews - Company/Time/Location/Name of interviewer.


Is this a legal requirement? I'm concerned as potentially I may be interviewed by organisations in the same industry....can anyone advise??


NBThey have agreed that we are allowed reasonable time off to secure roles outside of the business during this period.

It's hard to see how it's any of your employer's business, isn't it?

Unless there's some sort of restrictive covenant to stop you working for competitors?

No, it is not a legal requirement to disclose details of interviews to your current employers, however, if you are taking time off during working hours for that purpose, they would want to know you are actually attending interview and not just out enjoying the summer.
