    Hi,

    is there anything stopping me (as a English citizen) taking action in the Scottish courts against a scottish company?

    no you can raise an action in scotland, i currently live in scotland but a family law matter is dealt with in leicester, you just have to remember scotland has a different law from england and wales

        There are 2 things you need to consider - whether the Scottish court has jurisdiction in the matter and which country's legal system would govern the dispute
