  • Statutory sick pay

    Hi,

I injured myself playing ******** on Friday 7th June.

I've been off work all this week and won't be back to work till Monday 17th June.

I know statutory sick pay is £86.70 per week.

Will I get this whole amount?

    It says-
You need to qualify for SSP and have been off work sick for 4 or more days in a row (including non-working days).

I've been with the company over 5 years and work on an average of 42.5-47 hours per week.

Many thanks for any advice in advanced :-)

    Re: Statutory sick pay

You will get the weekly amount for any qualifying full weeks absence. For a part-week you will only get part of the rate. You do not get anything for the first three days of sickness.
