Hi Folks, I'm new to the site and would like to post a thread....read on:-
I recently parked my car in Morrison's Supermarket in FALKIRK. I had things to do in town then proceeded to the supermarket for some shopping. On leaving the car park 32 mins later than time allowed, earned me a car parking charge from PE received today in the post.
The phrasing of letter making a charge of £85 or £50 if paid within 14 days.
I have read with interest, that I am by no means alone in this situation and will follow others in ignoring all letters.
Hope this works out well for me as it appears to have done with other motorists.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and I welcome any advice on the subject.

    Regards
    Joeydee

Hi Joeydee, and a big welcome to LB! It will work out, just be prepared for the series of increasingly nasty letters.

Hello again Labman & Friends....Another update from my thread dated 23rd July 2013. Right on cue another letter from Debt Recovery Plus Ltd. They now say if I don't pay the £135, they will pass my file to the creditors solicitor to commence court action and will seek in excess of £250 on top of the £135. I still intend to ignore as I have done all along, but would just like to ask if this is their normal procedural threats.....thanks again team for your advice, look forward to hearing back from you........Joeydee

In Scotland they need to know who as driving as there is no registered keeper liability.

                I'd ignore.

Is there any photographic or video evidence of this so called offence?
