  • Time limit?

    Hi All,

Is there a time limit between a LO for Council Tax being issued, and the DCA notifying you of said LO and requesting payment? On 21st Dec we received a letter from Chandlers informing us that we owed £340 from an LO issued in August 2011, this is the first time we had been notified that this was outstanding, but wondered if it was coincidence that we had just finished paying them £830 from the last CT b@lls up that Bromley Council caused (seperate thread), did they see us as an "easy target" etc.

    Thanks,
    Kit

Probably - you should ring the Council and ask when they asked their Enforcement Contractor to become involved.
