  • Forced to resign

Hi all, I have been emloyed at my place of work since June 13th 2012, I resigned from the original post I was employed to do due to my line manager constantly expecting me to do more and more outside my job roll, and then berating me because I could not complete my usual day to day work. It got that bad and I got so stressed that, as soon as I walked into the office, I would start sweating to the extent it used to run down my face and literally drip off me. I emailed our area manager and requested a meeting to see if we could get things resolved, and she did say she would come up the following week, however this did not happen. Things came to a head when once again something had gone wrong in the office and I was blamed again for being incompetent, even though I was not in the office at the time but doing all the other things that I had been told to do. I resigned on the spot, but did offer to stay on at a lesser level. This offer was accepted. Since then the line manager has also resigned and I asked the area manager if she would consider giving me my original job back as the post hadn't been filled. We met and she told me that they were no longer employing anyone for that particular roll. But since then 2 people have been given said post. Is there anything I can do.
