Shocked and upset with EON

I changed from EDF to Eon earlier this year, i was told that my direct debit would be only £86 a month ,i queried this,as EDF told me the same then wanted another £280 ,i had already asked EDF to increase my payments to £100 a month,which they did, , but obviously still not enough I did the same with EON, recently, but now got a letter saying they were increasing my DD to £265 a month, if i paid that i would starve, this is just ridiculous,
I am fuming,it is mis representation by the company;s agents, I know up to now i have used more than usual because of the cold weather
